I have successfully put a firmare (1.9?) onto my V3 version of the TL-WR1043ND
I believe the firmware was a bit modified allowing it to work on the V3 (V1 and V2 officially supported).
It seems to work fine. In fact, I love it.
When will this firmware be officially supported by Gargoyle? It's not available on the list of downloads, and the router isn't really mentioned as supported fully (On the Hardware, there is a 'Note' link, but .. I never followed that - instead, I opted for the modified version of the firmware - which worked and seemed a lot simpler.
Long discussion here of how I started and finally was told how I can do it.

Also, when a new version comes out, it won't support the V3?

It is supported in the latest development builds. I added it a month ago.

Furthermore, please openly discuss your issues with the gargoyle UI here so that I can look into them.
I don't browse whirlpool.
I'm happy to look into any and all well documented complaints/suggestions.

Re: TL-WR1043ND V3
Thanks Lantis!
The only issues I have spied so far is:
When I watch the "Web Usage" list, and on a different client, go to, for example, www.facebook.com ... sometimes, it doesn't show up on the web usage list. It seems to miss a few things. OR ... maybe it's a cache thing? I'd have thought for dynamic pages, caching would not be used, and the site hit would be registered though. It seems that now and again, it misses a page.
Other than that - if you're one of the chaps contributing to the solution - much appreciation from me.
