DLNA Server not working

Post by Kal »

Hello, i have router TP-Link TL-WDR4300, i try with firmware 1.8.1 and 1.9.0 and have a problem with DLNA server, service is not working. I install plugin of root flash USB 4Gb Fat32 and as soon as try start, received message :
with firmware 1.8.1 is:
root@Gargoyle:/proc# /etc/init.d/minidlna start
/usr/bin/minidlna: can't load library 'libjpeg.so.62'

with firmware 1.9.0 :
root@Gargoyle:/proc# /etc/init.d/minidlna start
/usr/bin/minidlna: can't load library 'libjpeg.so.9'

File /tmp/minidlna.conf is generated automatically, don't edit.
Maybe some had also problem and can help. Thank you.

have you tried 1.6.2?

Not sure if there is a build for that router though?

Can you please try the latest 1.9.x. There is no reason that library should be missing. It is included by default.
I can investigate further if it is still missing from those versions.

Hello, i find where is problem, the problem is format partiton USB flash. To make everything okay.
1. clear configuration via console telnet or ssh
mtd -r erase rootfs_data - warning this command clear all configuration
2. Format USB flash - NTFS ( if you format FAT32 service not working )
3.Plug USB in port USB router and change plugin root directoria - to USB flash
4. Install DLNA server.

Server DLNA working fine with they all firmware.

fat doesn't support symlinks, so any f/s that does support them should work
