SB5101 + Gargoyle Router

Post by ruriruri »

How do I disable the NAT/firewall on the Gargoyle Router and allow SB5101 to provide IPs? I want to make the SB5101 into a wireless router with Garoyle Router connected.

You're looking for wired bridge config

Can't remember the exact options right now

What you want to do is set the WAN -> LAN

Connect the SB5101 to the WAN port
(which effectively makes all the ports on the router like a switch)

Setup the wireless on the router.

BUT - I have a question for you

Most ISP's only give you 1 or 2 IP's - are you only needing 2?

I don't think I've ever seen an ISP give out more than 2 IP's
unless you are specifically paying for extra IP's yourself?
