Gargoyle equivalent for Netgear R7000?

Hi everyone! First off I apologize if this has already been answered elsewhere, I have been searching for hours and have not been able to find the information I need.
I am looking for a way to monitor and, more importantly, set quotas on the amount of data being downloaded by a single device on my network. Basically there are users on my network that tend to use up all of my monthly data, and so I would like a way to cut them off once they hit a certain amount of data. I have seen that Gargoyle can do this, but unfortunately Gargoyle cannot be run on my Netgear R7000 router.
I would prefer not to have to buy a whole new router just for this reason. Are there any other firmware upgrades that can offer this feature?
Thank you so much in advance!
