Bridging

First post just found this site.
Question about bridging, Do both routers need to be the same model or can you use two different routers?

Hi mate for a simple bridge any routers will do as long as the software will allow bridging. which is most routers you can get today.
eg my mane access point is a TP-Link wdr3600 and i have a bridge that is a mynet N750 that bridges my network to my kids bedromm for xbox and a gaming PC.
You can have to tipes of bridges, a wifi bridge called a repeater and a wiered bridge.

Thanks for the information and link
I have the Tp-Link archer 7 ver 2 to be here in a week or so and was thinking of getting another one for better wifi downstairs, I have to do some more reading for sure tks.
