use sysdupgrade.bin only when coming from the stock firmware

Post by meazz1 »

I have a quick question:
If I am going from an OpenWrt firmware to Gargoyle do I need to flash the "sysupgrade.bin" file?
Is the "sysupgrade.bin" only needed if I am coming from the stock fw or do I need to flash it first each time I am upgrading Gargoyle from build to build?

factory.bin is only needed once to move away from stock factory firmware.

Once you are on openWRT or Gargoyle always use the sysupgrade.bin
Can you help someone else get Gargoyle up and running?
