What would the main problem with a subneted guest network?

Hi.I saw many posts about problems with using a different dhcp and subbneting related to guest network.But I do that and set quota and it seems works fine.I want to know what would the main problem with this method.Can anyone tell me that?

It has nothing to do with country or race or anything else.

You're using the firmware for something it wasn't designed to do. There's no telling what issues may or may not appear.
The code simply is not designed to handle it.
