Hello,
Apologize if discussed before but I would like to be able to update the static dhcp table from the CLI but I have not been able to find how.
Coming from 1.6 I just updated hosts and ethers but now I tried to place entries in /etc/config/dhcp without success and when I add an entry through the web interface other than getting the host added to the /etc/hosts file I can not find what files are updated.
Any pointers?
Thanks

AFAIK /etc/hosts and /etc/ethers are the same in 1.8.0 as 1.6.2 (I configured 1.8.0 this way)setham wrote:Apologize if discussed before but I would like to be able to update the static dhcp table from the CLI but I have not been able to find how. Coming from 1.6 I just updated hosts and ethers
What are you trying to achieve?setham wrote:I tried to place entries in /etc/config/dhcp

Re: [Q] v1.8 Static DHCP manual update
Hello, I was trying to manually update the dhcp table but updating hosts and ethers was not working, I clear settings and fresh reinstalled 1.8 and now it's working.
