DLNA-forces reboot on 3700v2

Post by vinikon »

Hi all,

There's a WNDR3700v2 with 1.6.2 installed. I have two problems concerning DLNA service

There's about 30000media files(video, music, pictures) on an attached 2Tb usb WD HDD.

First: DLNA stops scanning randomly if the option "DLNA strict" is NOT selected.
Second: when select option "DLNA strict" it scans directories bun CPU usage rises to 5.4 value and after some time the router reboots. It manages to scan about 11000music files and that's all.

Is there a solution to avoid these problems or at least to lower the execution priority of MiniDLNA; something like "renice"?

Thanks in advance for useful answers

I tried also to upgrade MiniDLNA since I know there's a 1.1.4 version out. The firmware comes with a 1.1.1 version which is a bit buggy.

Thanks for answers

How to update only MiniDLNA but stay on 1.6.2 version?

Thanks
