Visited Sites List Empty

In general, I am very satisfied with the Gargoyle router firmware. But one thing is not working as I hoped:
I wanted to log the sites the different users in our house are viewing. I thought Gargoyles "Web Monitor / Usage" functionality would be the right thing for this purpose.
But when I download the CSV-List, its always empty, I tried to reset, clear history, of course I saved the settings, but all with no other result than an empty CSV file. BTW: yes, it is enabled at the top of the page.
Today, I updated the firmware to v1.70 on my TP-Link TL-WR1043N/ND v1 hardware. I run some tests after the update, but with the same result as before.

Has anyone a hint how to get more information from this tool??

I am seeing the same thing with my v2 on 1.6.2.

Did you have any luck with it?
