i have a very limited amount of data a month, i only have 25 gigs, and ive been looking at different routers that will help with my issue, i found the ASUS RT-N66U with download manager. if you dont know what that is, it comes with ASUSWRT and it allows to make a queue of things to download, you can also set times its allowed to download, which is helpful for me because i have unmonitored data between midnight and 5:00 am. then i found Gargoyle, which i also like because i can set data caps on individualize devices.
So my question is (it maybe a really dumb question) when i put Gargoyle on a router does it clear the original firmware, would i still be able to use ASUSWRT or does it get wiped and replace it with Gargoyle? (if it even compatible with that router)
Thanks in advance,
Gage

Yes It would be wiped. Gargoyle is a complete firmware and replace what is on the router
