TPlink 1043 v 1.8 - ap + client -> shut down wireless ap

Hi to all.

I was trying to install gargoyle firmware (ver 1.6) because i need bridge 2 wireless nerwork.

this is my setup

1) android phone used as tethering wi fi for internet access
2) TP link wr 1043 v1.8 set as server dhcp for LAN network and for wireless AP network that I call (living wi fi network)
3) NAS readynas pluged on LAN network
4) macbook and windows 7 laptop pc

My goal is connect pc at point (4) to wi fi net at point (2) for access simultaneously to internet and NAS at point (3)

Following your istruction to ap + client connection it work fine only where the phone network is up. In this situation I can see bouth wi fi network and If i connect the PC to living wi fi network, I can read Nas data and surfing on internet.

THE TROUBLE becomes when I shut down the phone wi fi net (tether function off). because also the living wi fi network (2) will be switched off!

And it will re-switch ON if I reactive the tethering wifi phone.

So I can not see and connect to router wi fi (2) if the phone wi fi net is off.

I hope that this discusion is new, otherwise I will ask a link to the tread with a solution because I was not able to find it.

The same problem.
I discovered when enter a error password to "SSID to Join" block,save changes,then the "Access Point" will be OFF!
Anyway,if you without an Ethernet line , don't try to use "Client+Ap Mode"....
