Gargoyle router decreases the file copy speed from the network significantly I'm using gargoyle 1.6.0 on a Tp-link 741ND router.

Is this copy from a device on LAN port on the TP Link to another device on LAN port on the TP Link or is it to another network connected via WAN port?
Can you post a diagram of your network setup?

Looks like a wifi speed issue then.
Can you post a screenshot of the current wifi setting in Gargoyle eg: mode, channel etc?
Also download the last free version of Inssider (v3.0.x) from here and run a scan when the Gargoyle wifi is running
