I have a Netgear WPN824 v3 router. I'm trying to re-write the TTL for each TCP packet to 128. Any ideas on how to do this? would I use OpenWRT? Would I be able to reinstall the original firmware later? I don't know that much about networking. What I'm trying to do is keep the network from detecting the router.
