Too much of a noob to get OpenVPN to work?!

Post by widesreen »

I'm getting a little frustrated. Can't get OpenVPN Server to work.
I want to connect from my Android Phone to tunnel my IP traffic.
I get the error: ifconfig addresses are not in the same /30 subnet

Also I wanted to connect from office, to share files.
I use the subnet Adress 192.168.10.0/24 for my private LAN. Am I wright that my VPN needs to be in the same subnet to connect to clients?
Please someone help me.

I started from scratch again. Restored default configuration.
Figured I start with the default configurations Gargoyle is giving me.

I tried to connect again with my mobile using openvpn android client v 1.1.12 (latest). But I get the same error.

I would suggest using a PC first then when that is working move to your phone
