Ability to packet sniffing/capturing

Post by Frustie29 »

Hey Guys,

I consider to try Gargoyle on my Netgear WNDR3800. The Netgear router is used for a small home network , i just want to set this up for testing purposes.

I want to analyse all the packets on the WAN port . Is this possible with the Gargoyle firmware ? Is there a packet sniffer/capturing function build in ?

Or even a packet mirroring function ?

I checked the website of Gargoyle but there no information about that subject.

Thanks
