my internet is going down

How do I stop my internet from going down? I live in an building with 10 apartments. My landlord has Comcast business class internet. Their are two routers. One is a linksys and the other a netgear. Between all the gaming systems, smartphones, laptops, tablets, smart players, rokus, etc. the internet is constantly going down. My landlord claims that his geeksquad buddy told him that we just need new routers to accommodate the traffic.

They are right - you need new routers.

What would be ideal, since there are 10 apartments,
is for the landlord to hook up 1 main router with a gigabit switch,
and run wires to the apartments.

If you must run wireless connections, you should have 2 good routers
with external antennas so you can replace the stock ones and
put some larger antennas.

Would be good to have 2 - Asus RT-N16's or something similar.
