1.5.9 WiFi Disabled at Boot and Reboot

Post by cvcvcv »

I just installed 1.5.9. in Planex MZK-W04NU router

The connection status in browser shows that the WiFi is running.
However, I get no WiFi signal of the router in my Window7 after boot or reboot.

I connect the router using a LAN cable and enter the router again using browser.

I change any parameter in the WiFi settings or save somethings. The WiFi is re-activated again!

Does anyone know how to activate the WiFI automatically after boot or reboot in 1.5.9?

You can do it manually by issuing the command 'wifi up' in terminal. Keep in mind that 1.5.x versions are experimental, and there could be bugs. In fact, I had similar issues as you with 1.5.9 and as a result, downgraded to 1.4.7.

Unless there is a specific feature in 1.5 that you require, I would recommend trying that.
