Which changes interrupts the connection?

It would be nice to have some kind of warning when the changed setting interrupts the internet connection.

My son will be more happy in his on-line game when I'm playing with the router

I tend to assume now that all save changes will interrupt the connection. That said Gargoyle has been a life saver for being able to disable the children's intent. They don't tend to query spikes in connection - they're just happy I am allowing their connection at all
