Flashing netgear wndr 3700v2

Hi everyone,

I am trying to flash my wndr 3700 v2 with gargolye directly through the GUI. I updated my netgear to the newest stock firmwire (netgear genie). The router fails to validate the firmwire and will not let me update even though I changed the name of the garogoyle file to a more netgear friendly name. Any advice is greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Hello, I have the same router as mentioned above. I followed the same steps the OP did and got the same results. I also followed the guide that was linked in the above post to install OpenWRT. This also led to the same results. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
