wr1043nd TG587n v3 setup help

I have tried to install Gargoyle on the wr1043nd was successful until I changed the ip address on it then i had to re flash using telnet and open wrt firmware I can get the original firmware back on it but I can not get Gargoyle to work I can never access the gui and also I dont tihnk i set up my TG587n v3 properly for bridge mode help would be much appreciated

If you are able to telnet into your router type "firstboot", should get you back to your default settings.

If you are not able to telnet into your router then please give better description of what you did. The precise sequence is no clear from your post. Do you have Gargoyle on your router or OpenWRT?

I currently have gargoyle installed but i have no access to admin page I can telnet if it is in failsafe mode and firstboot does not help

Where there any error messages when you ran 'firstboot'?

Sounds like maybe your image did not get loaded correctly. Did you try flashing the image again? You can use TFTP to do it if you are able to get the telnet prompt. There is info in the Wiki if you need help on how to do it that way.

There are no reported problems with the WR1043ND and many users so I doubt it is a Gargoyle issue.
