Hi all,
Does anyone know if there are plans for supporting the Buffalo WZR-HP-AG300H ?
It shows on OpenWRT as "trunk", but I can't see it listed on the supported list for Gargoyle?
If it does work, could some kind soul please point me at the correct file to use?
Many thanks in advance,
Mike

Eagerly waiting for this myself! In the mean time i'm already running OpenWRT and I'm going to give doing all my QoS and Traffic Shaping manually a bash. At least do my best to replicate the same features

Re: WZR-HP-AG300H
Just curious as I'm new to Gargoyle myself (I even bought a router strictly FOR being able to run Gargoyle on it.
, but...
If one is already able to run OpenWRT on their router, isn't it possible to just install the Gargoyle packages on top of it via the ways mentioned in the FAQ and whatnot?
Or might that break something if that is done - and you don't want to risk a possible Bad Thing(tm) happening?

Netgear WNDR3800 w/Gargoyle 1.5.8 (using)
Netgear WNDR3700v3 w/Factory FW (now as backup)
Noticed wireless is stronger in WNDR3800 too.

1) The router is only supported in trunk releases of OpenWRT
2) Gargoyle modifies a lot, its more than just a GUI, it adds extra
features, etc. so installing as packages usually fails. I have not heard
anyone saying they were able to successfully get Gargoyle installed
as packages.
You'll have to wait for a new stable OpenWRT release before you will
see a full Gargoyle release supporting this router.

2x Asus RT-N16 = Asus 3.0.0.4.374.43 Merlin
2x Buffalo WZR-HP-G300NH V1 A0D0 = Gargoyle 1.9.x / LEDE 17.01.x
2x Engenius - ESR900 Stock 1.4.0 / OpenWRT Trunk 49400
Re: WZR-HP-AG300H
Yeeeep yep
Which is why I'm just playing with OpenWRT's features and extras for now seeing what I can do. No-where near as easy as gargoyle though!

Re: WZR-HP-AG300H
Yeah - I had OpenWRT on my Linksys WRT54GSv3 back in the day. It was nice playing around with it's complexity, but after a while I got sick of dealing with it and just went to Tomato.
I'm hoping as Gargoyle matures later on, there could be an option to turn on advanced configuration pages for when one wants to play with such features. But prefer it to always remain with an easy-config default interface for when you just don't feel like playing around with those things anymore and just want the fricken thing to work.
