Hi, i have gargoyle v.1.5.0 on tp-link 1043nd.
How can i upgrade to 1.5.4 without loose my settings?
Is 1.5.4 version good on my router? Or it has some bugs?
I'm very happy with 1.5.0 version, but i have to upgrade because of bug in dynamic dns, solved (read it in changelog) in 1.5.1.
Thanks for this fantastic firmware!

Re: upgrade tp-link 1043nd
Here i have a wr1043nd running 1.5.4 and it's perfect for me... The best wireless performance ever. And it's quite stable until now (4 days online without a problem).
I don't know if you can save you config settings when upgrading from 1.5.0. You can try... Create a backup config file, using the web interface option, upgrade to 1.5.4 and then restore the backup file. But i'm not sure if this backup file (from 1.5.0) is compatible with 1.5.4.
I recommend you to save (CTRL + C, CTRL + V) the configs (port forwardings, dhcp reservation, etc) on a text file (notepad on windows, kate on kde, gedit on gnome, leafpad on xfce, etc). Then you can manually restore everything in case the backup file created on 1.5.0 fails.
good luck
