[resolved] DDNS unable to update root zone

Post by dandersen »

Using version 1.5

When filling in the details for my ZoneEdit root zone (@.mydomain.com) Gargoyle complains that the domain is not valid. FWIW, OpenWRT with LUCI is able to save and update such a domain.

Is there anything I can do to allow this to work?

Unknown. Older versions will not work in my router, a WNDR3800.

Good news! Simply updating the root domain as mydomain.com works. It correctly updates the @.mydomain.com entry in ZoneEdit.
