I want to use Dir-825 router for sharing internet connection between 5 PCs. I need 3-4 traffic classes for each PC: P2P, Voip, games, web surfing. I am interesting in CPU usage by traffic shaper. What maximum throughput speed can I get using Gargoyle with QoS?
Using OpenWRT without TC installed, Dir-825 can reach up to 270 mbps from WAN to LAN interface. Can I get NAT routing speed at least 100 mbps with traffic shaper?
maximum available speed with QoS

Re: maximum available speed with QoS
I suspect you will have to test this on your own. There is no database out here that keeps such statistics.
If you do test you might report your results for others who might follow your.
My guess is that the capability of your router will be reduced by 50% by enabling QoS.
