How to create a wireless bridge NO repeating

Post by cybermailer »

Hello,

i have terrible problems - an so i need some help - pls!

What are the steps to create a perfect wlan bridge?

I have done the following:

-) gargoyle firmware 1.4.2
-) login with 192...
-) connection -> basic
- wireless Bridge/Repeater - checked
- Bridge IP (for me) : 10.0.0.140 - set
- Subnet 255.255.255.0
- AP/Gateway IP: 10.0.0.138 (MY Gateway in my network)
-Wan Ethernet Port: Bridge to Lan
- DNS nothing
- Connect via Client Bridge
- Repeater disabled
- N+G+B
- 20MHz / Max /
- SSID to Join (My Network WLAN)
- WPA2 Encryption + Key - set

Is there anything else to configure to get the wireless bridge work?

for me i can access my gateway (.138) and also gargoyle (.140) on tp link.

But i have problem getting connected to the internet...

Second question. Have i to set an ip or can i stay by dynamic ..?

Please help me....

THX!
