any chance of wrt55ag v1 working with gargoyle

Post by bbsux »

the wrt55ag v1 has a broadcom (bcm4702kpb) cpu, 4mb flash, 32mb ram. it has two minipci cards inside. G radio is a broadcom (bcm4306kfb). A radio is an atheros (ar5211a).

I know dd-wrt can be installed (the A radio is disabled). can gargoyle work? id like to replace the A card with another broadcom G card as I dont need A. would gargoyle support double radios (so your speed isnt reduced by half like with single radios.)

thanks

I looked around the openwrt.org web site and found no evidence that such a router is supported. OpenWRT support is required for Gargoyle.
