It won't happen, so you can stop waiting.
You can wait for 1.15 for the Linksys AC series to be supported again.

Lantis, Any chance you can provide more insight into why Marvell ain't supported on 22.03.5? I see 22.03.2 as the latest version for my WRT1900ACS.

Edit: I think I found the problem, seems to mostly be listed under OpenWRT issue 11077 (apologies but I can't post URLs), but would be happy to stand corrected if that's the case.

Correct, https://github.com/openwrt/openwrt/issues/11077
Although there are several issues that have different information about the same thing, no real consolidated issue tracking it.

My understanding of the issue is that all traffic is broadcast onto all switch ports, which can cause a leakage of LAN data onto WAN, which is a big no no.

It has been fixed, but not in the 22.03 series and hence Gargoyle has not picked it up yet.

Successfully flashed the following in the last month:

2 TP-Link Archer C7 v5
1 TP-Link Archer C7(US) v2.0
1 TP-Link TL-WR1043ND v2.1

It seemed that the TL-WR1043ND flash to 1.14.0 (from 1.13.0) went the smoothest and quickest, whereas the C7 v5s seemed to take the longest, and present more issues post-flash.

I tried to preserve settings on the first C7 v5, which didn't work, and didn't bother afterwards; restoration of 1.13.0 backups also didn't work well. Rebuilding settings from scratch proved to be the best solution in all cases.

And a pet peeve:

I would argue for dropping many of the "pre-installed" plugins from most builds, as, for example, I no longer use the USB ports on my routers for anything. In my case, the related plugins simple waste space and resources.

Per this OpenWRT forum thread (https://forum.openwrt.org/t/uninstall-p ... pace/48410), I assume that uninstalling the aforementioned plugins (via CLI) wouldn't actually recover space, so I would be looking at custom builds of Gargoyle to achieve the slimmed-down Gargoyle I'm looking for?

Thanks again to the devs for all of your hard work in keeping Gargoyle going! It is a core piece of my personal "critical infrastructure" :) .

The xr500 files are there even though they aren't listed: factory, sysupgrade

Netgear WNDR3700v4 was bricked after the update.
I think there may be an issue with the WNDR3700-v4 sysupgrade file.

The update advised it is not compatible with the router even though the sysupgrade file was for the v4.

UPDATE: Recovered Device using nmrpflash
RECOVER: Restored Netgear Firmware.
SUCCESS: Upgraded to Gargoyle using the 1.14.x factory image.
Netgear WNDR3700v4 (N600) - Gargoyle 1.14.x
D-Link DIR-835 - Gargoyle 1.7.1 (Deceased)
