WL500W works, wireless has issues

Post by Cronium »

Flashed the latest version (1.3.16) to my WL500W directly from TomatoUSB. While most of the firmware works fine, wireless does not seem to function at all, getting stuck on "Applying settings". I suspect this has something to do with its Wireless N, through I also tried the 2.4 kernel versions (1.3.9) which also doesn't work

Always check OpenWRT supported hardware list.

Gargoyle is mainly a GUI upgrade to OpenWRT.

Eric does also do extra patches for some hardware as well.
BUT - he has to own the device to test any patches.

May have to wait for OpenWRT support.
