How can I set my adsl modem to dial up connection? I am using a D-link ADSL modem.I will like to set it as a dial up connection so that it can be off when am not using internet.Anyone who can help?

ADSL modems do no "Dial" so your question does not compute.

I think he may be referring to the so called "RASPPPoE" protocol, or what Windows 8 calls "Dail-up and VPN"
connections which may be created from the "Network and Sharing Center" by
selecting "Set up a new connection or network" and then creating a new
connection.
I used to have a router that had a 'half-bridge' sort of feature that allowed
me to simultantiously connect to one ISP from the router and to another by
using the above mentioned method. I want to know if I am able to do the same
with Gargoyle and my current router, because until now I have not been able to
figure out how to.
