I've been banging my head against the wall trying to upgrade my linksys router. I'm currently running 1.3.11 and I understand I can't use the web gui because of RAM to upgrade. I scp'd the new trx file to the tmp directory and ran sysupgrade, but that didn't work. I've tried tftp but it just won't take.
What am I doing wrong. What is the proper tftp method or other way to flash this thing. I really don't want to run out and buy another router.
Any help appreciated

Re: Help with upgrading W54GL
Is this a WRT54G?
If so - you should be able to follow this method for TFTP:
http://www.dd-wrt.com/wiki/index.php/Re ... _Bad_Flash
That should work to load any of the firmwares.
Try 1.2.5 first - if that works, then try up to 1.3.9
1.3.10 and up is the big change, and some have had issues
with versions 1.3.10 + and WRT54G's - especially low memory.
