which file to i choose?

I have a TP Link WR1043nd ver 2.1. I'm currently on 1.9 and want to upgrade to the latest version. When i go to the download page there is a huge list of upgrade.bin's to choose from. Which one do i choose?

Also, can i backup and restore my settings after the upgrade?

WARNING 2: Do not attempt to preserve settings when upgrading from:
versions < 1.9.0 to 1.9.0+,
versions ≤ 1.6.2 to 1.7.0,
or versions ≤ 1.5.6 to 1.5.7+

Preserving is still a risk even when complying with the above.
