QoS broken?

Post by dafez »

Hello all,

I have a Linksys WRT 1900AC router.

I have the latest Gargoyle version.

I'm not sure what has happened, but for some reason, it seems that QoS is broken.

Even though I specify specific IP addresses for the connected hosts, it appears that the only way for me to throttle back download and upload speed is via the "Default Service Class."

Does anyone have any suggestions? The router is approximately 3 years old....could this be a hardware issue?

Thanks

Check in the connection list that the traffic you are specifying is being directed to the correct QOS classes.

It was....that's the thing!

I ended up creating quotas for the individual IP addresses for the hosts of 1MB. Then I throttled them accordingly.....and that seems to have worked.

You're welcome to remote login to my router if you want Lantis? My issue seems to be resolved but I imagine as a dev you may be curious.
