Brodcast SSID when disabled (bug?)

Post by fi5ban »

Hi All

First would like to say after a year of looking and test gargoyle v1.3.10 is a god send and thank you to all involved!!!
I pretty sure could have got dd-wrt to do bridge/repeater doesn't track search and url also have issue with way they work.

Any how seems like 1.3.10 is the answer

I have 2 linksys wrt54g v2 with v 1.3.10 1 as ap other as a repeater bridge so far everything seems to be rolling out fine (I did post question re:how much memory) I am implementing by steps

I have noticed that even though on the ap router I have brodcast ssid disabled when I do a scan from my laptop it still shows up.

I don't see an option for hiding it on the bridged router and I don't see that one out there.

am I missing something ??
thanks
Rich

Did you ever get this figured out?

Some settings take a reboot to take effect.

Did you reboot after you set your Broadcast SSID = Disabled?
