Help for a Newbie

Post by leoniestar »

Hi everyone,
I would love some help getting started with my new gargoyle router. It's set up and working, but I want to monitor usage and can't work out exactly what is possible or how to do it.

For example, is there a way I can run a report to show by MAC address/hostname how much data has been used between 7am-2pm today?

I am also having trouble logging in to the router wirelessly. I could do it when I was right next to it, but am now just getting 'This site can’t be reached' (see attached).

If anyone has any tips for a newbie, I'd be most grateful.

can me many reasons

wireless is a funny thing

- To far away from router
- many people on the same channel
- Interference form something else
- how may walls between
- what are the walls made out of
- etc etc

Line of sight should be 10m easy
