Hello Eric, we are looking for a stable version that we can intall on the Archer C7 . All the other routers on the forum seeem to be end of life or no longer in production.
In th past 3 months we have had 3 versions of Archer C7 and we are experiencing performance issues with 1.9.2 whereby bandwidth is sometimes restricted and Wan management seems to be broken.
I have also noticed that if you add your own DNS servers then they are ignored.
Do you or anyone else have a better build for the C7 or can you suggest a router that is still in production that we can use?
Version 1.9.2

Re: Version 1.9.2
Did you try gargoyle-pl? http://dl.eko.one.pl/gargoyle-pl/chaos_calmer/ar71xx/ it has 1.9.2.4 with a number of custom fixes.
Gargoyle-pl is available in English and many other languages, Polish being the default selection.
It also requires manual installation of miniupnpd via opkg if you want to use UPnP.

Hi, thanks for the info. Can settings be preserved? Upgrading from current 1.9.2, should we use the factory or sysupgrade file?eierfrucht wrote:Did you try gargoyle-pl? http://dl.eko.one.pl/gargoyle-pl/chaos_calmer/ar71xx/ it has 1.9.2.4 with a number of custom fixes.

Don't preserve settings.
Upgrading from 1.9.2, the correct image should be "sysupgrade.bin".
Note: the latest build (2017-September-06) can be found here.

Re: Version 1.9.2
WoW, I didn't knew that exists. I've installed the latest build for MVBU on my WRT1200AC and enabled to statistics sending, to help those guys, however it seems that they compile gargoyle without IPv6 ! How could you! Noo! Ipv6 seems to load a tad faster than v4 and workarounds the NAT issues.eierfrucht wrote:Did you try gargoyle-pl? http://dl.eko.onexx/gargoyle-pl/chaos_calmer/ar71xx/ it has 1.9.2.4 with a number of custom fixes.

Since their forum is in polish, if they a have builds with IPv6, please let me know that. Thanks.

lantisproject.com is a blank page with the word test in the top left corner?
If this site is still operating how do I get in contact with developers that can customise Gargoyle for me?
