Re: Version 1.11.0 : Based on OpenWrt 18.06
I installed 1.11.0 and I find it pretty stable so far.
I don't know if the following issue is something new in 1.11.0 but I'm having an issue with some "Restrictions" rules.
I tried to combine two of my previous rules into a single rule and the result wasn't the one I expected.
Rule Applies To: "Only to the following hosts"
192.168.1.130-192.168.1.139 (IP Range)
192.168.1.182 (Single Host)
Days Active: Everyday
Hours Active: 22:00-7:00
Restricted Resources: All network access
It looks like in that scenario the IP range will be blocked Everyday and Full time while the single IP will behave the proper way.
I splitted my rules like they were before (one rule for the IP range and another one for the single host) and I'm now getting the expected behavior.

Working great so far, C7 V2. How I add the adblock plugin?

I’ve tested this here locally and all behaved as expected.sciss1968 wrote:I installed 1.11.0 and I find it pretty stable so far.

One comment I would make is that specifying times that cross midnight probably won’t work. You should create two rules, one from 22:00-23:59 and another from 00:00-07:00.
Alternatively, one inverse rule where they are allowed between 07:00-22:00 would achieve the same.
It doesn’t explain the behaviour you saw, and if you find out more or find a way to trigger the bug without fail, I’d love to hear about it and will investigate further.

How can I get PPTP VPN connection working in Gargoyle? Unless I use DMZ to my IP (which I don't want as I don't want people to access all ports) it won't let me connect. I suspect this is because PPTP uses GRE instead of TCP/UDP, but I'm not sure how to forward that (preferably through interface).

Gargoyle supports OpenVPN VPN connections which use UDP. Please start a new thread on this in the proper section.Waterspuwer wrote:How can I get PPTP VPN connection working in Gargoyle? Just installed 1.11.0 on my Archer C7. I tried preserving settings from 1.10.0 because I am lazy and I had backups so there wasn't much for me to lose, but DNS and QOS was completely and utterly broken this way. I did a factory reset and all is working properly now, so far so good!
