TP-Link WR1043ND stock firmware -> to Gargoyle

Tried all the suggestions but all the firmware loads I tried came up with "no space left on device"

Finally bricked the 1043ND by mistyping a command I think.

Went to tftp with serial and managed to load open-wrt then upgraded to Gargoyle 1.3.7, appears to work !

Memory usage is running at a constant 25.4mb now which to me is a bit high, is this right or how can I reduce this figure ?
