i have some issues with Active Congestion Control. i defined my download speed at 25 000kbps, but ACC limited my connection to 15 000mbps. why is that? if i reset the settings it will work correctly again, but after some time it lowers the max speed again.

I recommend disabling minRTT in your Service Classes and testing; it can be too aggressive in my experience.
QoS Tip: Don't complicate your QoS settings. Gargoyle evenly splits available bandwidth between active devices as needed. Just delete all your classification rules and leave only one normal service class and you're done. No more arguing over bandwidth.

thank you will try it

EDIT:
I disabled minRTT and now link limit is 22500.. it was on 25 000 before and it worked correctly. idk why it suddenly stoped working. and its a shame i cant use minRTT since i use it for gaming.

also if i have 5000kbps upload, how much can i define as qos upload speed? i am currently using 4600kbps.

a nother thing i would like to ask is how to read current bandwidt usage per device?

thank you for your help.

It's working 100% as expected. Please browse the QOS and ACC documentation to understand why your fair link limit becomes lower than your entered link speed.

If you watch a 1080p video, does the link limit move or is it stuck on CHECK (instead of ACTIVE) status again? 22500 sounds like the initial link limit and should move from there after you start maxing out your connection (ACC resets when you change QoS settings).

Gargoyle will keep your pings low even without minRTT. I wouldn't worry much about it.

As for Upload QoS, you want to be on the safe side. 4600 sounds good, assuming you actually get 5000 upload on your connection.

it goes to active and its lowering the link limit. it stops lowering it at around 16000. so with ACC i only can use 16 000 out of 25 000. does the acc and min rtt have huge inpact on gaming? otherwise i will just turn acc and min rtt off and set the max upload to 22 000.

If i run speedtest 10x in a row, my link limit goes down every time. for example it goes to like 8000 which is insane.. why does that happen? if i dont use ACC and run speedtest 5x, it always shows above 24000.

It's just doing its job of trying to keep your ping reasonable.

so the link limit will go back to normal after a while?

but if it goes to 8000 and there are few devices connected, there is not enough download for my xbox.

also thank you for your fast reply. this community is great!

Correct. If you start to demand more than 8000kbps and the Ping is within limits it will raise the number :)

You could try your connection without ACC. If it's reasonably stable you won't see any performance benefits from using it.
