I have been hit with the 2 hour blackout many times. I have a patch here http://www.gargoyle-router.com/phpbb/vi ... =14&t=3887 for a basic.sh front end to this command:
killall -SIGUSR2 udhcpc //dhcp release
On my previous router, I used to clone the MAC address of the VZ-logged router when I swapped. That got around the 2 hour blackout too.
