Line speed in our country is poor. I have 3mbit - the highest residential I've ever seen in the city is 11mbit. There are a few areas on 24mbit though apparently.

From what I understand the higher the speed the harder it is on the cpu regarding QOS so it sounds like you'll be fine - though I do love my Netgear :)

Not sure if you have an adsl modem (which you need with these solutions). I went for a Netgear 834 (which is a cheap adsl router) then used

This to convert it to a modem. Worked well and has the advantage that should my main router fail I have a backup adsl router on stand by :)

Thanks for the input. I have ordered 1x TP-Link, and will see how that goes. If it runs well, and I can on-sell it easily, I will go ahead and get a few more. I have located the password for my old paypal account, so I can give Eric some $$$ for each one I do. :)

Sent me a PM if your business works out in NZ.
I have recently started working in the router industry and might be able to supply rt305x based routers you requires for NZ.

I have direct connections with the factories and are currently manufacturing these routers to use in other products... My home based company is registered in Auckland, NZ. Though I currently live in Melbourne. Anyway, what I mean is shipping router en-mass to NZ directly to you won't be of any problems to me if you have substantial demands for it.

The main advantage for you to buy from me is because you can't brick our routers because you can re-flash it using tftp via serial. Those on the market seems to require soldering to access the serial port. I could possibly build and supply the firmware with custom configurations too.

I am wondering if there is any demand in NZ/Australia for routers pre-installed with gargoyle too but I don't see any gargoyle-router on trademe. What responses did you get?

PM me if you need to buy Gargoyle router in Australia/NZ, willing to pay me to help you on your Gargoyle configurations or build custom configured ROM with pre-installed app or try to fix your bricked router. Yes, I am looking for job/work.
