wr1043nd usb wifi adapter

Post by yager86 »

Hello Folks!

I am trying to get a Ralink rt3070 based usb wifi adapter working. 1.4.4 gargoyle is installed, as well as kmod-rt2800usb and lib, kmod-2x00usb and lib packages.

lsusb lists the device, but at boot only phy0 (the internal wifi) gets recognized by ieee80211.

wifi detect has no output. (?)

/etc/config/wireless is correct.

How can I get the system to recognize the external adapter?

This is definitely an OpenWRT question

Post in their forums - you'll get much more help there.

I know but I found no info on openwrt.org or other forums.
I thought maybe someone here has faced a similar issue.
