Can't upgrade

I'm having a strange issue on WRT54GL router, I am on version 1.3.15 and trying to update to the latest one (1.4.2) but after the uploading screen nothing happens and the router only seems to reboot to the same version.
Any suggestions?

Also for development, I think it would be nice to add links to this main site and the forum to the firmware. what do you think?

Have you tried to TFTP the new build to the router?

TFTP should always work - sometimes flashing via the GUI
has issues and fails or occasionally the config gets corrupted and
you have to recover via TFTP anyway.

Try a TFTP flash and see if you can get 1.4.2 on.

it's true I should try but read the other post by mix and the command lines via ssh worked although it took at least 5 minutes or something... thanks for all the help!
