opkg

Post by uqbar »

I've managed to install 1.4.2 on my WR1043ND. It was easy actually.
I see there's opkg available and there's also a gargoyle specific repository.
My question is: if I install extra packages, like pptp client, will the configuration of pptp need to be done by hand or with a web UI?
I understand this questions sounds silly to you all, but I'm quite new to Gargoyle (but not to *WRT firmwares).

TL-WDR4300 x 2
TL-WDR4900 x 1
None is running stock firmware

If you are proficient with OpenWRT then you can install and configure any package using the appropriate configuration files if your router has the required RAM & FLASH. You cannot however use the Gargoyle GUI for this and you will have to be aware not to make something that conflicts with Gargoyle features.
