Recommend a good dual-band N router that can run Gargoyle

Post by jdmulloy »

I'm currently running Gargoyle 1.2.5 on an old WRT54GL. I'm considering getting a newer router with more RAM, Gigabit Ethernet and dual-band 802.11n wifi. Does anyone have one in particular that they own that works really well and runs Gargoyle?

Looks like people are having success with the Netgear WNDR3700
running the latest Gargoyle firmware.

Like DoesItMatter already pointed out; the Netgear WNDR3700v2 that I have purchased a little over a month ago, runs very well with Gargoyle version 1.4.2 (previously also on 1.4.0). Much, much better than with the original firmware. Great combination, IMO.
