After rebooting gargoyle I have internet access again for about 5 minutes and then gargoyle stop routing packets again.

If it is still not working, then please try 1.4.0, 1.4.1 is not working for me with my router.
I stopped and disabled the firewall manually and so far everything is running ok.
There is no option in the Gargoyle GUI to disable the firewall in client bridge mode. It should be added or the firewall should be disabled by default.
In client bridge mode, the bridge is always on the same subnet as the AP, so when the firewall is doing NAT etc., this will cause problems.
