TL-WR1043ND wireless

Post by kingnick »

I recently flashed a TL-WR1043ND from factory to Gargoyle 1.4.1 but I was unable to get wireless working, I tried 20 and 40MHz channel with and without encryption as well as all the channels.

inSiDDer and other scanning clients could occasionally pick up the wireless network but could not connect to it.

I decided to flash back to the latest manufacturer firmware using the webGUI and did so successfully.

I was wondering whether a reset of any kind or if there was a more thorough way to flash to ensure the NVRAM if necessary was erased.

I want to make sure there are no remnants of Gargoyle left over.

I tried flashing Gargoyle again and while I could connect to the wireless it was unreliable and the webGUI was very slow so I tried what you suggested and it is behaving a lot better.

Thanks for the suggestion.
