Feature request: IPv6

Post by grogi »

I really like Gargoyle, I do.

So just try to imagine my surprise, when I noticed that I cannot load the ipv6 module - I guess that the kernel that comes with Gargoyle (build 1.2.2 for Linksys WRT54G) does not have IPv6 support switched on...

Code: Select all

# insmod ipv6
insmod: unresolved symbol tcp_destroy_sock
Is it possible to compile the kernel with this switch on (even as a module, so I can load it later)... I would like to have a IPv6 tunnel from my router - and now I am using a separate box to provide such connectivity. Unfortunately, Windows Firewall hangs pretty often in such configuration...

I wanted to try out Gargoyle but am unable to get IPv6 to work (using 1.3.16). Am I right to assume that there is currently no IPv6 support in either 1.3.16 or 1.4.0?

I would like also see IPV6. I think that this is main feature on what this project should start concentrating. I would like to help if i could but unfortunately I'm not developer.
