AP "On" by default?

Post by lwrver »

It has come to my attention that when flashing a new AP with Gargoyle, the AP is not "On" by default. In some cases where there is only one LAN interface, the only way to access the GUI initially is via the wireless link. It would help if the AP was turned "On" by default, since that is the normal mode of operation anyway.

AP should be turned off by default on a new router. Even if you only have one LAN interface, you should configure by using that interface then turn on the wireless.
