serial port access /dev/tts/0

Post by jenom »

I have a modded wrt54g router with working serial ports /dev/tts/0 and /dev/tts/1 (using open-wrt kamikaze 8.09)
want to install gargoyle, probably do a clean install through tftp
wondering about if software support for these 2 serial ports will be still there after install ?
thanks

since there is no reply, I went ahead and installed gargoyle-brcm947xx on my wrt54g v3.0 router

logged into with putty, and immediately saw some changes there:
--/jffs is no longer there
former serial ports /dev/tts/0 and 1 changed to /dev/ttyS0 and 1 , which is a standard linux designation for serial port
now I just need to try to see if they work
